“Its light grows soft and golden.”
Life slows down as the sun arcs away from this hemisphere. Its light grows soft and golden. Baskets of crisp apples, fresh off the tree, delights our sense of taste, smell, and sight. Green leaves hint at a tree’s other life as yellow, bronze, red and orange slowly seeps into each leaf forcing them to shed their branches and pirouette to the ground they once shaded. Like crystal beads in a chilled bowl of an indigo soup, stars and planets transform with the seasonal change. Fur grows quicker. The need to feed and fatten beckons. Welcome Fall Equinox.

Golden light announces an equinox sunset over the Pacific.
