There you go again politicizing and “religious-cizing” the natural disaster in Haiti. From here on out I will not purchase anything advertised on the broadcast/print media that help fund these old idiotic white men.
The fat idiot (Rush Limbaugh) said yesterday, Obama will use Haiti to boost credibility with “light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in
this country.” OMG. He can’t be serious? He even slammed Obama for an exhibition of “humanity and compassion.” One can’t have heard this and not yelped, “HUH??”
The senile idiot (Pat Robertson) spewed more puke on the airwaves yesterday with, “And, you know, Kristi, something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French. You 
know, Napoleon III and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, “We will serve you if you will get us free from the French.” True story. And so, the devil said, “OK, it’s a deal.”
Then we have the multi-million dollar bonuses handed out to the alleged financial wizards of corporate money mismanagement, all while working Americans right now, today, must decide if they will keep their homes warms during this freeze cycle, or feed the family well, or avoid medical treatment/checkups.
Then there are righty statements about how conservatives give more money than liberals—with the underpinning message that the chosen are better Americans.
At that, my Irish blood mixed with the blood of my American patriot ancestors, rose to a boil. Spouse quickly sought a glass of red wine and perhaps some chocolate to calm my rant that went something like this,
That’s it! The f-ing terrorists have won. These idiot dupes of discourse have fallen right into their hairy hands as they rip apart the foundation of our America. It’s their America not OUR America. I’m done with this! If people are stupid enough to believe this crap, then they deserve what they get…
Well, I didn’t mean “…then they deserve what they get…” I let karma tend to its own business. But my mouth can toss ‘em out. Anyway, Americans are good people, with some exceptions as noted above. True, I will not donate as much money to the Haiti relief funds as my rich Republican neighbor may give. I don’t have thousands to donate, but I will give generously within my retired, then screwed by the financial- wizard-money mis-managers bank account. Does that make me a lesser American?
The two old idiot white men of dubious fame have raised the ire of many, many rational people. Truth prevails, regardless of their hate-fringed lunacy.

So Char…tell us how you really feel. Chocolate and red wine are a good tonic. Don’t fall into the abyss of venom spewing. It doesn’t serve any useful purpose. Take three deep breaths, count to … whatever, then go back to doing the positive things that you do each and every day. The difference is made locally, not on the media waves..
B–indeed, it is always local that makes the difference. If I can just get past bigotry and hate. Too much religious education–that was taken seriously–and remains serious, even without a name.
